A right-hand corner that marks the start of the circuit. It is a common place to attempt an overtake or set one up for the next corner. Its name commemorates the 1992 Universal Exposition in Seville.
Also a right-hander, this corner is tighter than the previous one, offering overtaking opportunities under braking. It is named after the French tyre manufacturer.
An open left-hand corner that almost flows into the next one after a short straight. It currently has no assigned name.
Like the previous corner, it has no name. Together with turn 3, it forms a long, fast left-hand bend leading to one of the key points of the circuit.
A right-hand corner where overtaking is difficult, but which is crucial for the approach to the longest straight. It is named after the two-time 250cc world champion.
Previously known as Dry Sack, this right-hander is one of the most spectacular corners. It sits at the end of the straight, is downhill and very tight. It is a frequent overtaking spot and was Dani Pedrosa’s favourite braking zone.
A fast, sweeping left-hander leading to tighter corners. It bears the name of Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna and a strong supporter of the Circuito de Jerez–Ángel Nieto.
Another left-hander, where getting the approach right is important before reaching one of Jerez’s action hotspots. It is dedicated to the four-time world champion, with three titles in 80cc and one in 125cc.
A 90-degree right-hand corner that almost flows straight into Peluqui. It is named after the “twelve plus one” time world champion.
Also a 90-degree right-hander, this corner honours Antonio Sánchez Garrido, known as Peluqui, one of the greatest riders ever to come from Jerez.
A high-speed right-hand corner that, together with Ferrari, is key to improving lap times. It is dedicated to the two-time world champion.
This right-hand bend almost joins the previous corner and bears the name of the legendary car manufacturer.
A left-hand corner with a very challenging entry and exit. It is one of the most technical corners on the circuit and was renamed in honour of the three-time MotoGP world champion.
